The BC Parks website crashed in May 2020 after it was inundated with requests.

Groupsite bookings will be available on March 24th and the Bowron. Users will be able to log in and explore. BC Parks has more than 10000 reservable day-use and overnight accommodations ranging from day-use passes parking permits and campsites to backcountry permits picnic shelters backcountry cabins and a yurt.

Of those 500 are in the Lower Mainland parks including Golden Ears. During the non-peak season October 1 June 25 backcountry permits for these campgrounds must still be purchased via the DBC Parks reservation system although reservation transaction charges are waived. Through interviews with hundreds of visitors BC Parks has invested heavily in gaining a thorough understanding of what campers expect in a reservation system and Camis is committed to meeting those expectations.
